Thats a nice route.  I would go, if I were not already leaving on Thursday for Taos.  Should be a good run though.

You are correct, it will be paved as long as you make an error like I did.  Which is, run that route the reverse direction, miss a turn I should have taken (sound familiar), run up James Canyon Drive to Overland Road where the pavement ends. :)

Weather permitting, leaving from the Shell gas station @ 64th & Sheridan @ 10:00am  (Point "B" on the map) on this coming Sunday 

Will be heading up past Nederland via Hwy 72, then down Lefthand Canyon and through Boulder (maybe stop for lunch?), and then head out of Boulder down Hwy 93. I'll be heading back to downtown Denver from there.

Roads are all paved AFAIK, and there's about 1hr between stopping points for fuel/bathroom/stretching breaks if necessary.
