And don't forget to line up a really good friend who will stay up until midnight to sign your paperwork to attest that you have made it home. A really good friend who, when you look into his garage and ask why he has so many motorcycles, will still sign the paperwork. Such friends are pretty rare . . . .

When Martin and I did it we went on the first Sat if March and left Denver at 4:30 am going West in I70 to Green Ever then North to Provo and back on I80. Much of those roads are 80mph and not too much traffic plus the sun was never in our eyes. We did no real prep except Google Maps to make sure we'd have enough miles.

I haven't looked into that. If I can simply change the name, like facebook, it will be easy. If I have to create a brand new group, there will be some migration, and probably some type of "opt in" process to ensure I'm not violating rules put in place to safeguard against unsolicited, or spam emails.
