OK RATS, the 7th Annual Chuck Ferrari Memorial Ride is ON for Sunday, April 28th.--Weather looks to be gorgeous. As always, this will be a fund raiser for the Colorado Humane Society which was one of Chuck's favorite charities so please feel free to donate what you would like in Chuck's memory.Let's meet at the Phillips 66 Gas Station in Morrison (The one just off of C-470 and Morrison Road) at 8:30 and plan for kickstands up by 9:00. We'll ride north, past Carter Lake and Masonville like we did last year but this time I want to go around Horsetooth Reservoir and end up in Laporte where those who want to can get lunch at Vern's, a great local restaurant in Laporte. Distance will be about 93 miles from Morrison to Laporte and time should be roughly 2 1/2 to 3 hours which should put us at Vern's right before noon.This is a great route and we couldn't ask for better weather (current forecast is sunny at 75 on Sunday.)
