[emrat:2992] Rescheduling the Benefit Ride for Doug Perkins Update

Well, we have four votes for the 12^th, so let’s plan on that (Colorado weather permitting!) . . . . details to follow about where we will have lunch.  Let’s plan first on departing the Blue Cow at 9 a.m.

 

John McDonough has a great idea.  He has a hardcover copy of the famous Guggenheim Museum’s “The Art of the Motorcycle,” with an estimated value of $100.  He has offered it up as a door-prize, so to speak, and suggested the EMRAT members contribute $10 per ticket (business cards in a crash helmet?) with the winner being drawn by Doug at our luncheon for him . . . and you need not be present.  You can send me a check, made out to Doug, in the amount of your contribution (multiples of $10) along with the same number of your business cards, or some kind of card with you name on it.  My address is:

My apologies for not getting back to the group sooner on rescheduling the benefit ride for Doug.

 

I wanted to check and see if Saturday, October 12^th would work.  This would be my preference, and I’ve asked Doug if it works for him.  Another date would be one week later, Saturday, October 19^th.

 

We could meet somewhere on the southwest side of the metro area, (Blue Cow at Morrison) depart at 9 a.m. and then meet Doug for lunch, somewhere on the west side.  He lives up in Thornton, and will need someone to drive him to the luncheon spot.

 

The later we go into October, the more “iffy” the weather becomes, obviously . . . .
