Hi all, My aunt owns a specialty shipping company, so the part of the Moto Giro presentation in the last meeting regarding the work involved in shipping the bike over to Italy sort of piqued my interest. I don't recall the exact price he stated for shipping his bike, but I had the Denver franchise get a quote for me. It came in a just under $1,700 for pickup, ocean freight, hazmat handling (unless you have the gas professionally drained and don't take the battery) and the other necessary customs paperwork. That is one way from Denver to Italy. Price does not include inland delivery or customs taxes. The website is www.cratersandfreighters.com if anybody is interested. |
