Here is a photo of the UP 844, near Nunn Colorado, enroute from Denver To Cheyenne, pulling the beautifully restored

UP passenger cars. Denver Post Special was the official name of train. Each year the "Post" would use this equipment to take 

VIP`s, politicians, advertisers etc. to Cheyenne to the Cheyenne rodeo and back to Denver. I was Conductor on this train, my last 

Trip ever as a Conductor in passenger service. This photo was taken by a "Post" photographer and was given to me by a neighbor who

Was a V.P. at the "Post". If any of you young Whippersnappers have never seen these incredible machines in action, do so if possible.

It is supposed to arrive around 15:45. I'll probably get there at least an hour early.

It will be in Greeley at the 10th Street crossing two days later, arriving at 12:45.
