TK'str; I'm guessing you will hit some dirt. It is in the Bylaws of CDOT to have some portion of McClure Pass torn up for repairs(?) at all times.
Rich Hansen and myself are leaving Thursday and riding to Gypsum to stay overnight with my sister. Maybe we will see you on the road on Friday, otherwise we'll see you in Montrose. Keep the shiny side up!

Tim asked me to post our planned route out to Montrose. As of now, Tim, myself and English Steve are taking this route but all are welcomed. Please review and reply if you would like to ride with us.
Meet in Morrison at Blue Cow at 8am Friday Morning.
Wheels up at 8:30
285 out to Buena Vista
24 north to Independence Pass.
82 Through Aspen to Carbondale.
133 south through Paonia to Hotchkiss.
92 west to Delta.
550 through Olathe (mmmm corn!) into Montrose.
Should be scenic and twisty and best of all NO DIRT (passes or otherwise)!
