In partnership with Brazilian Confederation of Industry, US-Brazil Connect has confirmed 2014 programming. We will be selecting teams, including contract leadership positions and paid Fellowship positions, for the 20-week program, which includes 4 weeks of work in Brazil in June or July 2014. The program is supported by the US Embassy in Brazil and the Brazilian Confederation of Industry. This year, we will prepare and send 17 teams and need a strong pool of creative, flexible, team-oriented candidates who want to experience Brazil and make a difference!1. For College Students and Young Professionals: Global Leaders Fellowship – a paid fellowship program working directly with Brazilian high school students, and includes 4 weeks of travel to Brazil in June or July 2014; there is no program fee and lodging, local transportation, health insurance, food, and living stipend are provided (international airfare, visa, and other international travel-related expenses not covered). Full information and the application are on our website; open to candidates across the US. The deadline to apply is January 15, 2014.2. For Professionals: US-Brazil Connect is currently seeking qualified candidates for part-time contract work beginning in February 2014 through September 2014 (approximately 10 hours weekly before and after work in Brazil). These positions require travel to designated US-Brazil Connect sites in Brazil for 4 weeks in June or July 2014, leading teams of Fellows. We are seeking individuals to serve as Team Coordinators and Education/Facilitation Specialists; international airfare, Brazilian visa, and in-country costs (lodging, local transportation, health insurance, food, and living stipend) are provided along with a modest stipend; preference for Denver-based individuals for these positions.
