Re: [emrat:12422] WED, 8/5 RIDE REPORT

Wayne - Living vicariously through your occasional "ride reports".  I could smell the rain falling on the arid section of Jefferson.  Well done, Son!

Ride Report, I-70 to Georgetown, some heavy traffic, road surface is terrible! Guanella Pass; very heavy parked cars and peds traffic at overview, otherwise beautiful; Grant/Kenosha Pass, typical line behind semi's, managed to pass before the summit; Jefferson; very light shower, road 77 wet till about 5 miles south; Tarryall Road(77) to Lake George, 'Bullitt Bob' road, I averaged about 65 mph, lots of tar snakes last 10 miles, NO traffic. Lake George to Woodland Park, traffic light till close to WP, stopped for lunch; WP via 67 to Foxton Rd, HD bagger going 80-90, wish I had his balls! Foxton Rd to 285 to S Turkey Creek Canyon to home, about 250+ miles and worn out! Next time, I will split this into 2 separate rides. EWB

P.S. - Anybody wanna buy a '73 Porsche 2.8 Carrera R?!
