If we leave at 830, we should have plenty of time to meet up in Lamar.

English Steve (Steve Reid) has volunteered to lead the "Denver Group" for the Spring Overnight June 1 - 2. He plans on meeting everyone and departing from Bennett, CO. Specific location to be determinedI will meet the group in Lamar, CO and we will ride the remainder of the way together. From my Googling, it appears that the route from Bennett is 397 miles or about 7 hours.
From Bennett to Lamar is 175 miles and 2 hrs 45 minutes. From Lamar to Amarillo is roughly 220 miles/ 3 1/2 hoursLet's meet in Lamar at the Port-to-Plains Travel Plaza on the North/West side of Lamar (before you cross the railroad tracks.) If we meet there at 12:00 Noon we should be in Amarillo before 4:00 PM.Steve, if you guys go "kickstands up" at 9:00 or thereabouts from Bennett, you should be able to make it to Lamar by noon easily.Jim Baker I believe is riding with me from the Pueblo vicinity. If there's anybody else in the CO Springs/Pueblo area, let me know.Let's keep this channel active so we all know what's going on. There WILL be an RMRAT monthly meeting this coming Saturday 5/25/2024 at Foothills.Ride safe!Martin
