The main reason I lusted after a BMW RT when I had my Triumph Trophy 900 was the heat. Triumph has had a tradition of ignoring rider thermal comfort of late. I remember Huc having to add thermal shields under his seat with one of the Sprints. So that was an "even at speed" heat issue. I stewed on the Trophy more times than I'd like to admit although that were more an issue when traffic slowed.
