Rest assured, when Triumph wins an award, I will report it immediately. However, since Indian already won best cruiser and BMW best sport-tourer, Triumph may come up dry this year.

Hmmmmm...I'm confused. I thought this was a Riders Association of Triumph Forum EM/RAT, sponsored by Erico Motorsports a Triumph dealer. Did something change that I'm not aware of? ‎Are we now sponsored by Denver BMW or Foothills? :-)

The main reason I lusted after a BMW RT when I had my Triumph Trophy 900 was the heat. Triumph has had a tradition of ignoring rider thermal comfort of late. I remember Huc having to add thermal shields under his seat with one of the Sprints. So that was an "even at speed" heat issue. I stewed on the Trophy more times than I'd like to admit although that were more an issue when traffic slowed.
