In 1965, I bought a brand new red Honda CL-77, twin cylinders, twin carbs, 28 hp and top speed of 100 mph.  And rode it from Manhattan KS to El Paso TX, my first long-distance road trip.  I never thought I would need a bike bigger and more powerful than that!
