Hello all,
I finally sat down and figured out some times on my route to Taos. Anyone who would like to join, meet at the Conoco station in Morrison, right off of c-470 (16283 Morrison Rd). Be fueled up and ready to depart at 8:30 am.
We will jump on c-470 to 285. From there we will go west to Pine Junction then South into Deckers and on to Woodland Park where we can fuel up. Then west on 24 to Johnson Village and south on 285 to Poncha Springs for Lunch and fuel.
Next stop will be Alamosa for fuel and we'll continue on 285 into Taos by crossing the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge.
I'm hoping we will be having lunch around 12:00 and arriving in Taos before 5:00. This route is "Thruxton Friendly" as the longest stretches will be between Woodland Park and the Lunch stop and between Alamosa and Taos. Both of these stretches are around 90 miles.
