Made it home a little before 5pm.Martin led Jay & l over some amazing blacktop.

Rode over Battle Pass into Craig, then we bailed from 40 down into Oak Creek for lunch.Yes,rode Gore Pass ,which is awsome now that it has been re-surfaced.

Thanks again Bob for putting this weekend together

Is anyone up for a long ride back on Sunday?  I know a place that has some gorgeous aspen forests.  Battle Pass, which is WY Highway 70, runs from Riverside/Encampment (about 20 miles South of Saratoga) and over to Baggs, from there we'd go South to Craig and from Craig ride home, possibly taking the back road from Hayden to Gore Pass or if we want a really long ride, go through Steamboat, over Rabbit Ears and then continue on 14 to Walden, then take Willow Creek Pass down to Granby and then home either via Berthoud Pass and the interstate OR Trail Ridge Road through RMNP.  Either route would be circa 360 - 400 + miles back to Denver, figure an all-day ride but with some amazing fall scenery!
