Black Canyon route puts you on the west side of the bridge work. Unless you're planning to hit one of the windows for the dirt route back to 149, that's not gonna work. 

Honestly, if you don't mind dirt, Kebler Pass will get you to Crested Butte with no waiting.

I am tentatively planning to go the Independence/McClure/92 Black Canyon route.  Tentative based on the Rt 50 bridge status, which will be updated via a local meeting on 7/23.  Current info says open for light vehicles from 4:30-6:30 pm, but will advise.  Leaving from Launch Espresso also, likely at 9:30, again, final deets after 7/23 meeting update.

Cottonwood is one route,but also thinking Rt.42 out of Divide to 1 then 9 to Hwy.50 into Salida,but need to research the time that will take.Will have a definite answer by the middle of next week
