Hello ,    

It’s not just about the Education

At the 2013 Colorado Conference on Poverty you will be educated and inspired with more than 48 sessions to chose from! But it's not all about the education - the most valuable asset of a conference is the people you meet and the relationships you can form and nurture.

You will have a chance to  meet and mingle with over 200 of your industry peers at 14 networking opportunities over four days! We have created many opportunities for you to connect, get inspired and create new relationships!

Here are some of the networking opportunities available to you at the Conference:

Tuesday, August 13 
  • 11:00 -12:00 Network with DOLA, CCAA, CCLP & AmeriCorps
  • 12:00 - 1:00 Welcome Luncheon and Icebreaker
  • 2:30 - 3:00 Afternoon Break & Topic Networking
  • 6:00 - 8:00 CSBG Innovative Projects Recognition & Networking Event at local winery
Wednesday, August 14
  • 8:00 - 9:00 Morning Coffee with Reg Carter and Fred Richmond
  • 9:30 - 12:30 Poverty Simulation - impactful team & empathy building activity
  • 12:30 - 2:00 Networking Lunch Round Table & Poverty Discussion
  • 3:15 - 3:45 Afternoon Break & Topic Networking
  • 5:00 - 7:00 Self-Sufficiency Coalition of Colorado Meeting: Come sit in on the next meeting where we will see the new SSCC website and hear the committees accomplishments. Dinner will be provided  
  • 7:00 - 9:00 American Winter Documentary & Panel Discussion
Thursday, August 15
  • 9:00 - 12:00 Service Project at Local NPO's 
  • 9:00 - 10:30 CCAA Board Meeting.  Come meet the CCAA Board of Directors and hear about what the CCAA does (outside of coordinating the Conference on Poverty).
  • 3:00 - 3:30 Afternoon Break & Topic Networking
  • 5:00 - 6:00 Closing Networking Reception at SpringHill Suites patio
