3,000 More Toys Needed     The Action Center's Santa Shop opened today with several hundred area families seeking help for the holidays. Through the week we are expecting to serve 5,000 children. To ensure that every family will be served, 3,000 more toys are still needed through Saturday.    If you would like to make a donation for children who won't have a present under the tree without our help, you can drop off your NEW toys to the Action Center dock:   Dock Hours Tues, Wed, Fri 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Thurs 8:30 am - 7:00 pm Sat 9:00 am - 12:00 pm   Parents will shop the Santa Shop for their children ages 0-12. Please consider toys for older children, ages 9-12, as we often need these toys the most.   Or your cash donation will help the staff purchase toys in the categories where we need the most.   THANK YOU!   Enterprise Zone donors: Have you given the Action Center your ID#?   Call us by Jan 10th to get EZ credit this year!   Donations to the Action Center of $100 or more may qualify for a 25% state tax credit under the Enterprise Zone program. To claim this credit, donors need to give their Social Security number or Colorado Tax ID to the Action Center.   Call Lynda at 720.407.6703 to give us your SSN or ID# today. Click here to obtain a Colorado Tax ID# online from the state. You'll need your SSN and previous year's tax info.   Action Center Received $164,800 on Colorado Gives Day!   Thanks to the 453 generous donors who participated in Colorado Gives Day on December 4th, the Action Center received $164,846 in one day. That's about 14% of what the Action Center needs to raise from individuals this year!   If you didn't get to participate in Colorado Gives Day, please consider a gift to the Action Center before December 31st.
