Hi Five Points neighbors,
This Saturday, December 8th, there are lots of opportunities to celebrate the Holidays in Five Points. Come out and experience the diversity and wonder of Denver's most diverse Community.
10am to 4pm - Earth Links will have their Second Anual Holiday Open House at 2828 Larimer.
Earth Links is a local neighborhood non-profit that helps some of our neediest neighbors learn sustainable life skills through gardening Bee keeping and crafts. This would be a great place to buy a Holiday gift.
3pm to 5pm - Holiday Giving Tree Decorations and Hot Apple Cider on Cousin's Plaza at Sonny Lawson Park, 24th and Welton
Help Decorate the Five Points Holiday Giving Tree. We will serve hot apple cider and decorate the tree on the Plaza with solar lights and ornaments.
The tree will give neighbors the opportunity the help clients of the St. Francis Center. Simply take a gift ornament from the tree and purchase the item listed on the card at a neighborhood store. Deliver the item to the St. Francis Center at 23rd and Curtis. St. Francis will give the gifts to people in need at the center.
5:30pm - Holiday Lighting Ceremony with the Mayor at the Points
Join Mayor Hancock as we light the Welton Corridor for the Holiday Season at 27th and Welton. Refreshments and Music and local businesses.
