Very importantly, the University of Colorado's College of Architecture & Planning are including the Candy Chang visit and presentation as part of their Spring Lecture Series. This opportunity for our City would not be possible without their participation and investment toward the betterment of Downtown Denver.

We wanted to reach out and remind everyone of the upcoming events and programs we have planned for you at the moment.PUBLIC MEETING: Our next Public Update Meeting is scheduled for April 11th. We'll be holding it at St. Francis Center at 2323 Curtis St. from 5:30-7PM. We'll look forward to presenting all the latest progress made at Sonny Lawson Park, Sonny Lawson Park and Eddie Maestes - Triangle Park! There's a lot to share here and we REALLY hope you all can make it.CANDY CHANG VISIT: Many of you are aware of the Before I Die art mural that was first installed at Cousins Plaza (Sonny Lawson Park). In partnership with Arts & Venues Denver we moved the installation to Civic Center Park in January, directly in front of the McNichols Building. We're happy to announce that we've attracted Candy Chang to Denver and we will be hosting a presentation and Dialogue Series with our very own Eric Crotty on APRIL 4TH at RedLine from 5:30-7PM. Candy is a Senior Ted Fellow and Fast Company named 2012 Young Master of Design. MORE ON CANDY HERE.TACTICAL URBANISM: tomorrow we'll host our 2nd monthly First Fridays Tactical Urbanism Happy Hour. This "impromptu" event held a cool community photo project last month, and tomorrow we'll be hanging solar lights and creating an urban/public art interventions using TONS of colorful umbrella. Just bring yourself and maybe a friend and meet us at Redline (24th & Arapahoe) at 4:30PM.
