Re: [emrat:2143] Reminder: February RAT meeting - Tuesday February 5th @ 7:00pm

Yeah,  my duties with minutes include:

- Call to Order
- Rol Call
- Reading and Approval of Minutes from last meeting
- Old Board Business
- New Board Business (treasurer reports, membership reports, programs, etc.)
- Monthly club issues
- That Months Programs
- Board Proposals
- Rides Director Reports
- Reward Recognition Programs (Attendance and Mileage)
- Club newsletters and blasts for rides, socials, meetings, etc.
- Combining the minutes along with club register reports, membership reports, etc. into a multi-document .PDF and mailing to all BOD members.
- As well as running and maintaining the Meetup site.

It's time consuming, and I really don't have the time to be consumed by it :)

As a reminder to the long time members -- and perhaps a cautionary tale to new ones?

Here's how we used to roll for about three or four years. Here's ones example from 2007 (hope attachments work if not click here for the PDF file link  https://dl.dropbox.com/u/26111738/EMRATCHAT_Jan2007.pdf  )

For the Record "Meeting Man Dan" has previously fulfilled his duty as secretary - see attached - so anyone who wants to run with it - besides Dan whom I'm sure is still running as Sean recommended!  :D LOL - is encouraged to do so!

Meeting Minutes?  Secretary?  The formalities being suggested are sounding a little too...well...formal.  I just want to get together to have some fun rides, or talk motorcycles over a beer.
