Colorado Cutthroats Game

I was not able to put this together as quickly as I would have liked, due to a number of family and business related issues that took priority over scheduling the game.

The deal I have arranged for the club, is that the Denver Cutthroats will supply us with 25 free tickets.  Additional tickets may be purchased a price of $8 each.

I talked to Thomas at the Cutthroats yesterday, and he suggested a date in March would work better at this point.

Available dates in March are:

Friday March 1 vs Tulsa Oilers

Saturday March 2 vs Tulsa Oilers

Tuesday March 5 vs Rapid City Rush (if we wanted to do that rather than a meeting)

Sunday March 10 vs Rapid City Rush

If everyone still wanted to do Friday the 22nd or Saturday the 23rd,  I am guessing I can still push to get one of those dates done if everyone really had a preference for it. 

Tim suggested that we make the first 25 free tickets available to the first 25 people who responded, and with how many tickets they wanted.  This includes spouses and family members.   You can debate this amongst yourself, I don't care.  I did my part in getting the 25 free and the $8 additional deal done :)

Also,  might be cool to represent with kilts :)

Maybe Manual could put together a poll for date that works best for the majority?

On the other hand . . . certain things in my background do lead me to inveterate note-taking and writing it up.  And I may have done this back in the early ears, 2002-2003, of this esteemed group.

 

So, if the RAT PACK wants a secretary, I'll accept the draft.  But I'll need an Assistant Secretary or two for the meetings that I miss.

 

Perhaps Tim can put this on the agenda for a formal vote at the March meeting?  Democracy should be a guiding principle of our  . . . pack?

So, here are the things I left off my first email that were discussed last night:

·         Feb. 10^th, this Sunday—last ice race at Rainbow Falls (I can't remember who is going to go)

·         Colorado Cutthroats game, Feb. 22 (again, I was not paying attention on this topic; I must have been looking at motorcycles on my iPhone)

·         Molly Dharma Run for Maxfund—June (Manuel)

 

And one fundraiser ride that some of us have participated in past years, s0 perhaps we should add it to our calendar:

 

The I Luv You Guys Foundation, Seventh Annual Ride, Columbine High School to Platte Canyon High School, Sunday, Sept. 29^th.
