In Mile High Youth Corps' YouthBuild program, youth get paid work experience on a DHA construction site while earning their GED or high school diploma and industry-recognized credentials. They develop leadership and career-readiness skills, receive case management, job or post-secondary educational placement and ongoing follow up for a minimum of one year after completing the program.
In addition to the bi-weekly stipend, youth earn an AmeriCorps Education award towards post-secondary education. Program starts August 12th and will run through May 23, 2014. To be eligible, applicants must be 18-24 years of age and not currently have their GED or high school diploma. Positions are filling up, so have interested applicants apply today!
