The Center on Domestic Violence is excited to announce its fall 2013 Community Education SeriesA Cold Case Domestic Homicide Study: People vs. George Ruibal.”  The workshop will take place on Tuesday, August 6th. Distinguished guests from the 20 th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the Colorado Department of Public Safety, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, victim advocates and co-survivors will explore challenges and strategies for success in the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence homicides that have gone unresolved. This workshop is co-sponsored by Families of Homicide Victims and Missing Persons (FOHVAMP) and designed to address the interest and needs of prosecutors, police, offender treatment providers, domestic violence advocates, policy makers, co-victims and victim assistance providers.
