Subject: Cold Case Homicides - CDV Community Education Series

The Center on Domestic Violence is excited to announce its fall 2013 Community Education Series “A Cold Case Domestic Homicide Study: People vs. George Ruibal.”  The workshop will take place on Tuesday, August 6^th. Distinguished guests from the 20 ^th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, the Colorado Department of Public Safety, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, victim advocates and co-survivors will explore challenges and strategies for success in the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence homicides that have gone unresolved. This workshop is co-sponsored by Families of Homicide Victims and Missing Persons (FOHVAMP) and designed to address the interest and needs of prosecutors, police, offender treatment providers, domestic violence advocates, policy makers, co-victims and victim assistance providers.
