See ya in the morning.

Fellow MC addicts (which obviously includes Mr. Warfield),

The 2013 edition of the Spring Opener run will be to lover-ly Salida, CO. I know, it wasn't all that long ago we went there, but my April was very hectic and this is the best I could do with my limited time. Anyway, we will be departing from the usual location in Morrison CO (Blue Cow) at approximately 9:30 AM. from there we will head south-west-ish until we hit our destination. The route will largely be dependent on the weather conditions, as always.

We will be staying at the Days Inn (719-539-6651) on US 50 in Salida. I've stayed at this one before and the owners are very cool to motorcyclists. I have asked them to block 10 rooms for the "RAT group from Denver" and they will hold it for one week. The owners Anna and Mark have given us a price of $69 per night plus tax, for double queen rooms. I will be going without the accompaniment of my loving wife, so I would be willing to split the cost with someone else who is interested. Earplugs will be provided .Zzzzzzzzz......

There is a nice party type area and hot tub outside we can utilize if we have decent weather. Within close walking distance along the highway there's a nice selection of restaurants, including a place that makes a killer prime rib dinners,a couple of bar and grills, and a pancake/breakfast place for early risers too.

Be there or Be square!

IB Steve
