Hancock Rowena Alegría, Communications Director Amber Miller, Press Secretary Mayor Hancock to Launch MY Denver Card with Denver Kids DENVER – Mayor Michael B. Hancock tomorrow will launch the MY Denver Card, which gives all Denver students ages 5-18 free access to the city’s recreation centers and pools, and serves as a Denver Public Library card. The Hancock will be joined by the innovative 12-year-old Denver student who created the concept that led to this new city program. Mayor Hancock, Denver Broncos linebacker Wesley Woodyard, and other city appointees will play a pickup basketball game with students at the recreation center following the announcement. The MY Denver Card was created to give Denver children easy access to the city’s resources and healthy options for afterschool and summer activities. The event will showcase the critical investment in Denver’s kids that was made with the passage of Measure 2A. Additionally, UnitedHealthcare of Colorado has generously provided financial support to promote the MY Denver Card program citywide. Who: Mayor Michael B.
