[CPN] You're Invited: My Denver Card launch

Hello Neighborhood Leaders,

Mayor Michael B. Hancock and city partners are pleased to announce the official launch of the My Denver Card, which will allow all Denver students ages 5-18 free access to city’s recreation centers and outdoor pools.

We invite you to join the Mayor, city agencies and Denver kids on Thursday, March 21 at 3 pm at the Washington Park Recreation Center for the launch of the My Denver Card. This event will showcase the critical investment in Denver’s kids that was made with the passage of Measure 2A.

On Feb. 16, Mayor Hancock and City Librarian Shirley Amore announced the first round of expanded library hours for Denver Public Library. Building on the implementation of expanded hours, the My Denver Card will not only give Denver kids free access to recreation centers and pools throughout the city but will also act as a library card so our kids can easily take advantage of our incredible library system.

Thanks to Denver voters’ overwhelming support of ballot Measure 2A, the city is able to eliminate its budget deficit, restore essential services and put Denver on a path to full economic recovery. Denver will be able to deliver a smart, 21st century city that is built on a solid financial foundation with good jobs, healthy children, accessible libraries and safe streets.

We hope you will join us for this very exciting announcement!

Hancock Administration
