[The Network] Don't miss the Colorado Collective Impact Convention, April 5

Coming in one month, Colorado Collective Impact Convention: Benefits Navigation and Client Advocacy
April 5, 9am to 4:30pm
Central Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, 1660 Sherman St. Denver, CO 80203

This conference offers a highly interactive day of problem-solving and information-sharing. Come prepared to participate!

Morning sessions will focus on navigating government benefits systems with a focus on changes and upgrades. The afternoon will be all about what doesn't work and how you can advocate for change. We're inviting the state legislature to join us for the luncheon session. Detailed agenda information available soon.

Keynote Speaker, Mike Green, of the Asset-Based Community Development Institute and the Denver Foundation, brings a fresh perspective to the work with vulnerable populations. In Mike's view, human services clients are community assets to be leveraged for the good of all; not broken people whose deficits need to be 'fixed'. He presents a positive, heartening view of human service work that can make a real difference in the lives of workers and clients alike.

Presenting organizations include: Colorado Works, Energy Outreach Colorado, Hunger Free Colorado, the Colorado Participation Project, the All Families Deserve a Chance Coalition, Colorado Legal Services  and the Colorado Center on Law and Policy.
