Hello fellow EMRATs!  Most of you know that Erica and I are in the process of starting a brewery.  Tomorrow, we need to move 3 fermentation tanks out of the storage warehouse and over to the brewery.

I may need a few guys to meet at the pickup point to help loading.  A forklift will put them onto a flatbed truck and then we will need to tilt them on their side, onto some wooden cradles.  This is near I-70 and Vasquez.

Then we will need some help at the brewery, unloading these off of the truck, rolling them into the brewery, and standing them back up. Brewery is at Kipling and Coal Mine.

There are 3 tanks that are being transported, plus one at the brewery that need to be moved.  Sunday, we moved 3 similar tanks and it wasn't a problem enough help.

Not sure on times yet, as I'm waiting to hear from the truck driver, but I anticipate that it should be in the afternoon.  Thanks all!

Re: [emrat:10466] Lowering Kit

Jason,

After installing lowering links on my wife's Tiger 800 we replaced the side stand with a adjustable one from Soupys Performance. See link below.

My experience was the lowering links were sold separately from a shorter kickstand, but I didn't search extensively for a complete kit. I easily installed the links in about half an hour, and then slid the front forks up in the triple trees to level up the bike. I figured that I saved a couple $100 doing it myself not to mention the travel time.

Re: [emrat:10465] Lowering Kit

I should also mention that her bike had a center stand on it so lifting the rear wheel to change the links was easy. In Norm's case with the Street Triple, it would have been much more of a challenge. Good luck!

In the attached photo, the blue Tiger is on the far right and next to it is the red Bonnie.  The photo is from 2005 when I only owned four bikes.  😊

On the left is the only Triumph that I have ever sold, the Joel Wey custom 1971 café racer that I sold to a member of the BMAC who often shows it at the annual Colorado Springs bike show.  I owned it eight years and rode it 450 miles.

And, yes, I still have my 2001 blue Speed Triple, second  from the left in the photo, my first "modern" Triumph.

Sounds like a good excuse to remodel.  Jim's got a good idea too. I have a friend in SC that keeps his CB750 in his living room.

Martin,

I saw this bike a few months ago. The price isn't bad. However, the garage is full.

An anglophile with a lot of money in his pocket could put together a nice collection from what I've found in Denver CL.

Here is a 2002 "Golden Jubilee" Bonnie to go with the Silver Jubilee:

Given that I already have two vintage bikes--a 1971 Triumph Tiger 650cc TR6R, which needs restoration, and a 1976 Triumph Bonneville 750cc T140, which needs to be nursed back to running order—that give me plenty of vintage headaches and expenses, I will pass on this beautiful bike.  It should really belong to Denise Wendl.
