Jason:I had Erico install a lowering kit and an adjustable kickstand on my 2012 Street Triple. While I'm not a great wrencher I do perform some of my own work, I felt the stability of the bike suggested they should do it. It also involved adjusting the suspension to compensate which was part of the service. It made riding the bike better for me and I did not notice any loss of handling or performance.--On Mon, Feb 12, 2018 at 1:00 PM, Steve Smith <shmitty74@gmail.com> wrote:

My experience was the lowering links were sold separately from a shorter kickstand, but I didn't search extensively for a complete kit. I easily installed the links in about half an hour, and then slid the front forks up in the triple trees to level up the bike. I figured that I saved a couple $100 doing it myself not to mention the travel time.On Mon, Feb 12, 2018 at 14:21 Norman Wright <lowrtax@gmail.com> wrote:Jason:I had Erico install a lowering kit and an adjustable kickstand on my 2012 Street Triple. It should really belong to Denise Wendl.
In the attached photo, the blue Tiger is on the far right and next to it is the red Bonnie. The photo is from 2005 when I only owned four bikes. 😊
On the left is the only Triumph that I have ever sold, the Joel Wey custom 1971 café racer that I sold to a member of the BMAC who often shows it at the annual Colorado Springs bike show. I owned it eight years and rode it 450 miles.
And, yes, I still have my 2001 blue Speed Triple, second from the left in the photo, my first “modern” Triumph.

Sounds like a good excuse to remodel. Jim's got a good idea too. I have a friend in SC that keeps his CB750 in his living room.
