Hello everyone! It is that time again, for our monthly meeting on Tuesday 5/1/18! We will be meeting at the usual spot (Interstate Kitchen and Bar 10th and Santa Fe in the arts district) at the usual time (7:00 PM, but arrive early to grab a bite and socialize) with the usual warning (watch your step when entering the meeting area).

This month, our speaker will be Captain Bob to tell us of his adventure on the 3 flags classic! Parking is on street, or in the free garage accessible from 10th. Hope to see you there!

Don't know how many silos you'll have to pass. I can't count that high. You might see a dead deer or two, but all the John Deere I see are still running. Not so sure about any Massey-Ferguson though.

Watched Saturday qualifiers from Erico.That track surface looks dreadful!!!That could have been a good opportunity for KTM to step it up,but alas,no way at the MM93 Inn!

Just got of the phone with Red Arrow Inn and made a reservation for the rally.Several of the double queen rooms are still up for grabs (as of 10.15am).

If anybody is interested in splitting a double queen room with me,that would by great.Other places close by are not that much cheaper,if you happen to find one.Thanks and have a good week

Due to all the cancellations because of bad weather, we have added Sunday April 29, at 10 a.m. for ages 12 and up.We also still have some space on May 20, at 9:30 am for ages 12 and up. The only space left for ages 6-11 is this Sunday, April 22 at 10 a.m.

All classes are held at the Strasburg range located approximately 15 miles north of Strasburg, CO. The closest intersection is 112^th and Strasburg Rd. and then there are 5 miles of dirt to get to the range.

If one of these dates will work for you, let us know as soon as possible.

If you are no longer interested in being on the waiting list, please let us know.

The 10th Annual Spring Overnighter is almost upon us, so I thought that I should send out the details to that you can plan to attend if your schedule allows. I know that I'm sending out this notice a bit later than usual, but then again, so what. I have planned a little trip to the nearby mountains so that we can start off the riding season with some good roads and great company, and an adult beverage or two after we arrive. You know, the usual.

Speaking of "the usual", we will be returning to the scene of the first one, the city of Salida on Saturday, May 19 for one fun-filled night of amusements and scandalous behavior. Also as usual, the ride route will be determined by the weather, but hopefully we can enjoy warm sunny skies and ride fun roads all the way there. Meeting time and place to be determined closer to the date of departure.

I have arranged lodging at the Silver Ridge Lodge, located at 545 W Rainbow Blvd (aka US 50) in Salida, which happens to be nearby Salida's newest brew pub, Soul Craft Brewing. I checked to see if they could accommodate our group, and they have a number of single and double queen bed rooms, although all of their king bed rooms were taken.

The rates for the double queens are $81, and the single queens are $71, plus taxes. Please let them know you are with the Denver RAT group when you make your reservations. The phone number is 720-539-2553. If the rooms fill up before you get one, there are other motels nearby.

Finally, since this is the last time I can lead this event for EMRAT, I'd like to give a little something to those who attend this one. Please let me know when you book a room at the motel so that I know how many people will be going. I would like to know if you're going by May 1st if at all possible.
