[emrat:10508] 7th Annual Chuck Ferrari Memorial Ride CHANGE OF DATES TO SUNDAY, 4-15!

Here is the information for the 7th Annual Chuck Ferrari Memorial ride to be held this Sunday, April 15th (NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!)

DATE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER!

As always, we will be collecting donations for the Colorado Humane society, so those that feel like helping to make a donation in Chuck's memory please bring either cash or checks made out to the Colorado Humane Society.  I will collect them and take them out to the Humane Society's office in Denver.

Let's meet around 9:30 at the Coal Mine Avenue Brewing CO., Manuel and Erica's soon-to-be-open craft brewery!

Address is  9719 W. Coal Mine Avenue (this is on Coal Mine Avenue, about 1/4 mile EAST of Kipling.)  The brewery is in a shopping center on the North side of Coal Mine.  There is a Mexican Restaurant called La Morena that serves breakfast starting at 9:00.  I'd like to be Kickstands up at 10:00.  There is a gas station just West of the shopping center for those that need to top off their tanks.

Instead of doing our usual Southeastern loop through the Black Hills, I thought I'd change it up a little and we'd go North up through Golden, Boulder, Lyons, past Carter Lake, and end up at Masonville.  At Masonville, those who feel adventurous can decide if they want to ride Stove Prairie Road to the Poudre Canyon or to Rist Canyon.  DISCLOSURE:  I HAVE NOT RIDDEN THOSE ROADS RECENTLY AND DON'T KNOW THE CONDITIONS AS FAR AS SNOW, SAND, ETC.  PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Those that don't want to take the "high road" can return to Fort Collins via Horsetooth Reservoir.  From start at Coal Mine to Masonville should be about 2 hours.

Right now the weather for Sunday is forecast to be decent, highs in the 60's (Saturday's weather, by contrast, is very windy and only in the low 50's.)

Please let me know if you have any questions.
