[emrat:13313] Meeting agenda for 1-26-22

First off, I want to say "thank you" for the great turnout at today's meeting. I didn't take a count but I think we had over 25 people at Foothills for our first Saturday morning meeting.

Here is the agenda, I haven't updated it based on the topics we discussed but they haven't been forgotten and I'll be getting right on it!

Next month's meeting will be Saturday, February 26 at 9:00 AM at Foothills Motorycles, and Jay Clawson has said he will be showing a presentation of his 2019 motorcycle trip to Mexico, so I'm really looking forward to that!

As always, I'm available here on the Google Group, at my personal email at Martinjmpr@yahoo.com or on the Facebook page if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns.

Thanks again for the support! I was honored to take custody of "the Tank" which now sits prominently on the antique desk in our living room.

"Social Hour" first Tuesdays to continue based on member interest and participation. 2/1/22 at RINO beer garden, 7:00 PM.

Calendar for 2022: Goal will be to have it done NLT March 30, 2022. Tentative dates for TINTR will be 07/15/22- 07/17/22.

Googlegroup list will be maintained, however most activity will be on Facebook. Group has now moved to "private" – any issues for anybody? Questions or problems? Group rule discussion/Suggestions?

Discussion of separate RMRAT web page – would it add value? Tavis Aitken? See AZRATPACK for a great example.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

CO Motorcycle expo, Coliseum, changed to 2/19 – 2/20/22
"Pre-Party" at Sun Honda today 9AM.
Triumph Preview: Speed Triple 1200RR, as well as 660 and 1200 Tigers. 2/1 – 2/2 at NoCo Motorsports (Fort Collins), 2/3 – 2/4 at Erico (Denver), 2/5 at Foothills, 2/8 – 2/9 at Triumph CO Springs.
Bike Week Daytona FL, 3/4/22 to 3/13/22

I volunteer at Copper Mt Nov thru March, every Saturday. But in April I should be there although my family is planning a reunion about that time so it may be May.

Any possibility of using "zoom",if the start time stays at 9 am ( BMAC starts at 10)?

Do plan on attending about every 2-3 months.This partially depends on a special presentation and especially weather at the time

My situation is l already paid up with BMAC for 2022 .They generously waived dues for 2021 because of covid.Sure you would agree with me that they need my full support when you factor in circumstances that nobody has control over.If anyone out there has other ideas,let me know

I know it came up during the last RAT meeting that the 1st Saturday of the month is also when the BMAC meets and since we have members in both groups, the question was asked whether we could move the RMRAT meeting to the 2nd Saturday vs. the first.

With apologies to the BMAC members, I don't think I'll be able to move the RAT meeting to the Second Saturday of the month. Here's why: I'm not available the Second Saturday of February, April, July, August, September October or November. Third Saturdays I'm not available May, June, July (Triumph in the Rockies is that weekend), or September. Fourth Saturday is a possibility although this puts us having a meeting on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend. Group thoughts on that? I am set on moving the meetings to Saturdays, I think it will give us more opportunities to have presentations or demonstrations at the club meeting.

For those that are in the Indian club (Dave Mulay?) the 4th Saturday also puts us in conflict with them in February, March, May, June, August, September, and November.

Thoughts?
