Jim,

Yes I did an Alps trip with my wife back in 2017 and it was great! Trip was with Edelweiss Bike Travel and we did the Touring Center Alps seven day tour. It is one of their home base type trips, where you stay in the same place and do day trips, so no daily packing hassle. A nice least hassle choice if traveling with your honey, less of an issue if you are solo. Riding was fantastic, at a good brisk pace if desired, and dinners and socializing first rate. My first choice was the longer, traditional sag wagon Ultimate Alps Tour, but it didn't occur in my time slot. Tour guides also raved about the beauty of the Touring Center Dolomites, so thinking of that for 2021.

Meanwhile, our last trip was a 12 day tour of Spain & Portugal (traditional sag wagon), this time with Ayers Adventures. They did a great job too! Will do a presentation on this trip pretty soon.

So I can recommend both outfits as first class and worthy of repeat business. Hollar if any questions.

David, I think Michael will customize the class to suit your experience and goals.

If you don't want to use your own bike, you can rent one of his Honda 250cc dirt bikes.

Our group--the Wests, my son Aaron and TK--were on an assortment of bikes. The Wests brought their own dirt bikes. I rode my Kawasaki 650 KLR. And TK rode his BMW. Aaron, who was taking the class for a second time, rode one of Michael's bikes.

To learn more, it would probably be west to talk to Kathy directly.

Very likely,at this time,that l will be unable to attend the meeting next month.Wondering about the following:

Has the events calender for 2020 been finalized?Can l get access to this from the Facebook page

Sunday rides:Will try and ride this Sunday (weather permitting).Will be out of town the first weekend in April (MotoGP time).Could be Dr.Rossi's last ride here in the US?

House projects moving along,well,slowly.Next Monday is "Tuff Shed Day"!!

Here are the March and April dates we will have class.

All classes are held at the Strasburg range located approximately 15 miles north of Strasburg, CO. The closest intersection is 112^th and Strasburg Rd. and then there are 5 miles of dirt to get to the range.

Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 am         ages 6-11

Sunday, March 15 at 10:00 am           ages 12+

Friday, April 17 at 10:00am               any

Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 am           ages 12+

Sunday, April 19 at 10:00 am             ages 6-11

This is on a first-to-email us, first-served basis. If you see a date that will work for you, let us know as soon as possible.

Granted, today's chilly weather brings to mind a trip to Key West or Arizona, not motorcycling.

But, weather permitting, a dirt-bike class this spring could be just the tonic for the icy winter blahs because it's a fun experience with Michael as the Pilcher Twins, Brian Weberg, TK, the Wests and others in our group can attest.
