It’s been 20+ years since Eve Ensler’s play The Vagina Monologues (TVM) shattered taboos, the stakes could not be higher. V-Day is a movement that grew out of the untold stories of women. We believe women. We believe in their right to tell their stories and we believe their stories need to be heard – nothing is more powerful. The mission of The Empowerment Program is to provide education, employment assistance, health, housing referrals, and support services for women who are in disadvantaged positions due to incarceration, poverty, homelessness, HIV/AIDS infection, and/or involvement in the criminal justice system.
This year’s production consists of staff and participants of the program! 100% of ticket sales and additional donations will go to The Empowerment Program. We thank you for your support!
