Jom, I agree that they are useful, especially when traveling. The top case that came with the bike was not much more than a black plastic rectangular box about 6" deep and looked completely out of place on it. It's just a blemish on an otherwise factory stock bike. I may someday get the right one to match the panniers but not yet.
