[emrat:14073] Tiger 800 aftermarket coolant hoses

My Tiger has a pinhole in one of the radiator hosts. I did some searching and found SAMCO silicone hoses. Bob Wendl had mentioned an aftermarket hose that fixes a known issue with a t-connector on one of the hoses. It turns out, it was a hose from SAMCO UK.

They appear to be high quality hoses with very good ratings. The downside is the $400 plus price tag for a set for my Tiger. That does not include the $60 plus for the SAMCO hose clamps.

I guess I will stay with the $30 Triumph part for now.

RATS: It's that time again! Monthly RMRAT meeting will be this Saturday, 5/27. As this is a holiday weekend, we don't typically have a big turnout, so no presentation this month. If weather looks nice, perhaps a ride after the meeting?

If you are riding with me on the Denver Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, we will meet at the Phillips 66 station at 8286 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton. This is at the corner of Chatfield and Wadsworth. Meet at 8:15 AM Sunday, May 21, with "kickstands up" at 8:30. We will then ride to Erico Motorsports at 2860 Walnut Street in Denver for the start of the DGR. The DGR starts rolling out at 10:00. If you live closer to downtown, just meet me at Erico.

Expect to be back mid-afternoon. Message me if you have questions. 8286 S Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton, CO 80128
