Re: [emrat:8649] June Updates and Deadlines!

Sweet, I really wanted to take part in this!   But alas, my nephew's graduation party is that day.  Maybe I can escape early.

To tag on to Manny's email, Darren and I have set up a camping overnighter for June 11-12 in State Forest State Park by Gould. I have been there my FJR and it's easily doable on a street bike. I met with the park rangers and they were very helpful in planning our little get together in the woods.

We don't need reservations and if the weather turns bad we can cancel with no problems. If you do decide to go be prepared for overnight lows between 35-45 F. I will update the group at the Tuesday meeting. We hope that many of you will join us!

Hello everyone!

June is a pretty active month and I just wanted to let everyone know about some upcoming dates of which to be aware:

1. Sunday, June 5th will be our monthly Sunday ride.  Maybe we can have some cooperation from the weather this time?  Meet at Bear Valley Coffee 5600 W Dartmouth (near Hampden and Sheridan).  We will be kickstands up at 10:00 am.  I'll be there around 9:15-9:30 to grab a coffee.  For those that are newer, this is a leisurely ride that doesn't keep us out too late.

2. EMRAT Monthly meeting at the Interstate Kitchen and Bar 1001 Santa Fe Drive at 7:00 pm on Tuesday 6/7.  Traci from Hear no Evil will be there as our guest speaker.

3. Book your room for Triumph in the Rockies by 6/14!  Beyond this, our block is available to the general public.  Call Red Arrow Inn at (970) 249-9641.  Tell them you are with the Triumph Group from Denver.  (Event is 7/15-7/17)

4.  Register for Triumph in the Rockies by the end of day June 26th through www.ericomotorsports.com (click on "Ride with Erico" and "Riding Clubs".  You will see underneath the EMRAT Logo, a link to register for the rally).

5. Triumphs in Taos WILL be happening this year, the weekend following Labor Day.  Will provide updates as I get them.
