Lightning started a fire, about a month ago, in a very remote area up high in the mountains, South of Salida.

Winds picked up a few days ago, and took the fire East over the mountain. It is going East with the winds,

and is now becoming a danger to homes and ranches, and the town of Howard, East of Salida. Some places being evacuated.

We are 5 miles West of Salida, so no danger to us, or the town of Salida at this time.

We need some rain in this area.
