I am going to assume,just like the passing of Nicky Hayden,that the Denver Post did not bother to do an obituary!
Personally,l was not a big Phil Read fan,but you need to consider that his path to get rides on the best bikes was extremely opposite to what Mike Hailwood has acheived.On top of all that,Phil won Yamaha's very first world title,that you can not take away from the man....
