Bridges 201: Channels for Change engages participants and agencies to take our work to even higher ground. While continuing to reduce silos, sharing ideas, and exploring scarcity, we will become aware of advocacy opportunities and grow resources to support greater community accessibility for the people we serve. Participants consider actionable steps across the whole community sustainability grid addressing the 4 categories of causes that perpetuate poverty: political and economic structures, exploitation, the absence of human and social capital, and individual behavior of people in poverty. We will explore ways in our Denver community to continue the work we start in this program.
· As in 101, this course involves 2, 2-hour sessions, 2 weeks apart. Participants are encouraged to interact via discussion board between sessions.
