[emrat:7872] Re: Distinguished Gentleman's Ride and those not attending

The ride today was epic. That is all I can say. I think we were over 250 strong for bikes plus some passengers. I think they said we had raided in Denver alone about 24 or 25K. We had beaten Atlanta with a much bigger population. Great day and ride with lots of ladies and gents. This will be a regular for me yearly if possible.

Hello Everyone,

There is a lot coming up this weekend.  There is the group's fall overnighter, the Emily Keys ride, and the Distinguished Gentleman's ride.  The Distinguished Gentleman's ride has grown into a world wide event that was started by a few riders that were inspired by a photo of John Hamm (from Mad Men) in a suit, on a Triumph Bonneville.

The theme is, that you dress "dapper" and ride your bobber, cafe, classic or modern classic.  The event is about theatrics and being part of a spectacle.  I, myself, have participated and had a great time!  Most importantly, this event is to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer prevention and treatment.

For those that have other plans, or don't have the bike to go with the theme, we do have some EMRATs participating this year.  Below are the names and links to be able to sponsor our EMRAT riders who have chosen to be part of this and representing the EMRATs.  I would encourage all to take a look and help them out for a great cause.  EMRAT Represent!

1. Ross Borgida
2. Carl Goldberg
3. Doc Murdoch
4. Scott Rydwell
5. Jeff Taylor
6. Darren West

I looked through the list of Denver participants, so my apologies if I missed anyone.  Thanks all

Manuel
