Subject: [emrat:9259] Roadtrip- Denver - SF - Seattle - DenverHey gang,I recently pitched the 3 flags trip to my buddy in England for our next big road trip as we are both gonna hit the big 5Oh next year but hes bringing his missus this time around and she aint gonna wanna look at the back of his helmet for that many miles per day. I initially thought about doing our own itinerary just taking a few extra days but neither of us really care about the bagging three countries so instead of riding north just to come back down, the plan at the moment is to ride west out to San Francisco, its about 1200 miles (you Iron Butts look away now!) so thats gonna be three days, we can do the touristy stuff for a day then head north up to Puyallup in WA to visit my brother. Its only 800 miles from SF but figured we could meander along the coastline up sections of Hwy 1 and the 101. I already googled Avenue of the Giants just north of Garberville which looks pretty cool but theres so many little coastal towns up though Northern CA and Oregon and we cant see them all so thats were you guys come in. I think it was Martin who suggested getting off I-70 before 191 at Exit 214 to go through Cisco to Moab and that was an amazing ride so hopefully I can get some more tips like that of what not to miss.Oh and the last time I was in Seattle I forgot my passport so I would like to visit either Victoria or Vancouver for a day trip, the latter on bikes. From Seattle it looks like I-90 back into Montana to be able to head south through Yellowstone and maybe the Tetons.I gotta add that this will be sightseeing only, no hiking off the bike as my buddy didn't even make it to Delicate Arch and no camping, just motels/hotels along the way. We winged it on the last trip apart from the one night in Vegas and so we may book one night in SF just to be safe.We will be setting off Sunday September 3rd from Denver and plan to be back no later than the 15th as they fly out on the 16th.Just used the search function on here to re-read all the replies I got from you guys about my Vegas trip, I never did buy a GPS or a Windscreen but I am considering both again for this trip. Positive is I now have a T120 so will know my gas mileage range better and the extra power should help keeping up with his 1700 RoadStar tho he is actively looking to trade up to a Vulcan 2000 before then.Cheers in advance,Limey.--
