Sent from my iPhone--That's a showroom stock WR250R. A Yamaha dealer had a nicely discounted leftover 2017 that was just what I was looking for. Picked it up today with 6 miles on the odometer. I have only put about 10 miles on so far but what a blast!
BTW, how's the AT doing for you? I've been eyeing one of those myself, in DCT of course. Looks like a great machine!--

Subject: [emrat:10961] The metamorphosis has begun...--I'll be the first one to admit that I haven't paid as much attention to dirt riding in Colorado as I should have in the past. But then again, I was living in Strasburg. A whole lot of Denver was between me and the fun stuff.
Not the case in Montrose, needless to say. I can be in the hills in 5 minutes. Therefore I have procured a nice little 250 dual sport to begin my adventures in the wilderness. Surprisingly I got a Yamaha. Who could have guessed?
I'll be busy exploring the local network of roads and goat paths in case any of you decide to do some dirt next year in Montrose. Who knows, I might actually be able to ride in the stuff by then!
