I arrived home at 1:40. Left solo from Rabbit Ears but then rode with Tim, Erin, and Tomas on 14 until about Rustic. Then 27 South to Rist Canyon Rd, which I hadn't been on in a while. Fun road.
E-Steve - thanks again for coordinating everything. The motel was great, as was the Saturday ride and dinner together. Looking forward to our next one!
Chris.
--Adam and I left Steamboat Springs just before 06:00, with the idea of getting to the RMNP before timed entry began at 09:00. We were early, arriving at the park at 07:40.The ride was a bit chilly. Adam's thermometer recorded a low of 36.While on Rabbit Ears Pass, a truck a couple of hundred feet ahead of us ran into a deer. Truck: 1, deer: 0.Although the ride through the park was good, many people were up and about. Traffic must be bad later in the day.The cafe at the top of Trail Ridge didn't open until 09:00, so we had a surprisingly good breakfast in Estes Park.As always, it was great to see everyone.Bob Sheehan
