I've camped there. There is a great restaurant on the south side of CO 14, can't remember the name but it's the only one there. I recall a camp store near there too but don't remember an alcohol retailer but the restaurant had beer to go. There was no cell service, att. Great spot otherwise

US 12 is a nice road either way from Lewiston. Lucky you! I was fortunate enough to ride WA 410 last year too, and loved it even in the light drizzle.

Well, I definitely think we rode through the Palouse area on US 12 going west from Lewiston but I'm not sure where the Palouse is said to end as you go further west towards the Columbia River.  What we saw on US 12 matches the photos that are posted of the Palouse.  Magical country, for sure.
