Here is a thread on the subject. Long story short, it sounds like the chirp comes from incorrect belt tension, incorrect wheel alignment, or a combination of both.

Have you checked the Rat Forum? I had a belt on my BMW F800 but it never gave me any issues so I've no idea. On autos it usually means a drying belt and replacement works but auto belts are a lot cheaper than MC drive belts.--
