Re: [emrat:9111] Rocky Horror Picture Show

My family and I just watched the original last week. We are about three songs into the remake (hard to get all the kids together at once!) -- but so far I am also very impressed with the remake. Good job of keeping to the original, but also being very creative such as in the opening scene.

Not sure if there are any fellow fans within the EMRATS of this show, but I new version was just on Fox last week (you can stream it from Fox.com). I was impressed with the remake, and Tim Curry was still a character (narrator & criminologist) from the original movie and theater production. I used to go see it as far back as the early 80's for midnight movie showings.
Little noticed, but Dr. Frank N. Furter (played by Tim Curry) was wearing a leather jacket with the renowned 59 Club patch. And for the 2016 remake, Eddie (originally played by Meatloaf) was riding a new Triumph Scrambler in the scene's. In the original I was never sure what the bike was, but it looked like an old military style Harley. Little known fact, Meatloaf did not know how to ride a motorcycle so they used a double. And when Eddie was moving around in the scene he was actually in a wheelchair.

Check it out if your a fan
