Looking forward to it...and yes, Bob is correct. For those of you that have not raced before it is an ass-kicker!

--Dear RAT Karters,As of 2/14 we have a full group of ten drivers for our event this Friday night (2/17) at 7 pm. Please see the up to date doodle poll. http://doodle.com/poll/uvkiqevc2pycmiaw Note that Jim and the Norms are on the list as standbys in case of any last minute no shows, so if a conflict comes up for anyone, please advise us all ASAP, so the standbys can plan accordingly. Please plan to be there (www.unserkarting.com) promptly at 7 pm and everyone will then check in and pay with credit cards. As noted before, good idea to bring your own helmet, especially if fitted for your Go Pro camera! Gloves a good idea too for a proper fit. They supply jumpsuits/overalls to help stay warm as there is a lot of outside air turnover going on to eliminate fumes. For shoes, sneakers/running shoes are good. The cockpit is compact so boots that limit ankle movement are not preferred.Hollar with any questions, otherwise looking forward to seeing all the drivers (and spectators?) Friday night!Bullet Bob

They have a first class facility up at I-25 and 36 (www.unserkarting.com) and I can give them a very positive endorsement from having had an event there for family and friends a few years back.Track is a challenging road course and can accommodate 10 karts. Yes you can bring your own helmets and gloves. They include one piece overalls/driving suits to help keep warm. Seemed like there were 6-10 interested parties, so if we have participants in that range, we'll have the track to ourselves. If interest is higher, I'll have to see about adding a second session.
Tentative date choices are Feb 16, 17 or 24, all for 7 pm. Should be about 1.5 hours with the orientation. Please go to the following Doodle Poll, http://doodle.com/poll/uvkiqevc2pycmiaw where you can add your name and indicate which dates work for you and I'll finalize a date based on the greatest folks that can make it. Further details on the event and costs are in the Poll notes.Hope this poll tool works OK, so will look forward to your response.
