Jim,

That notion of joining an adjacent (hopefully) other group with some open slots is a great option.  I'll check that potential in the am.

Dear fellow RATs,

As promised at our last meeting, I swung by Unser Karting to put together an indoor karting event for us, to help shake off the winter doldrums.  They have a first class facility up at I-25 and 36 (www.unserkarting.com) and I can give them a very positive endorsement from having had an event there for family and friends a few years back.

Track is a challenging road course and can accommodate 10 karts.  Yes you can bring your own helmets and gloves.  They include one piece overalls/driving suits to help keep warm.  Seemed like there were 6-10 interested parties, so if we have participants in that range, we'll have the track to ourselves.  If interest is higher, I'll have to see about adding a second session.

Tentative date choices are Feb 16, 17 or 24, all for 7 pm.  Should be about 1.5 hours with the orientation.  Please go to the following Doodle Poll, http://doodle.com/poll/uvkiqevc2pycmiaw  where you can add your name and indicate which dates work for you and I'll finalize a date based on the greatest folks that can make it.  Further details on the event and costs are in the Poll notes.

Hope this poll tool works OK, so will look forward to your response.
