Re: [emrat:13626] competent full-service triumph maintenance?

Sara and I go to Aidas over at Colorado Moto Service as well.  He has been good to us over the years.  I do miss his shop being in the Lonetree location though, it was only about 15 mins from home.  The shops between Colorado Ural and Colorado Moto Service are starting to look like the old Foothills BMW/Triumph now with Craig, Terrance, Mike and I believe one of the techs :)

Jim - I have taken my bike to Colorado Moto Service in Denver for a number of things, including service. They have Triumph certified mechanics and I have been impressed with them so far. Definitely recommend, they treat you like family.

Third for TFOG.  Very responsive and good people to work with.  They've worked on both my DR and my Bonnie.  Would definitely go to them again.

I use TFOG Wheelsports in Lakewood.  https://www.tfogwheelsports.com/

I'had them service my T120 and ST#.  Last year when my tranny failed to shift on the T120, they replaced the shift shaft and it works great now.

But, I have to tell you I'm now committed more than ever to doing my own work.  Just did the 12K work on my R1200R, including test valve clearance, change oil in engine and final drive, drain and bleed brakes incl ABS motor, repalce spark plugs and air filter.  Took 2 days but worth it. Watch Youtube, talk to Capt Bob and buy the tools.  No one will ever care more for your bike than you do.

Hi, all,

My adventure this weekend has seriously eroded my confidence in local dealerships down here.  I'm looking for a Denver-area solution where I can pay for service and have them treat my Triumph like their own child is going to ride it.  I have this bike professionally serviced precisely so I can avoid disasters without really thinking about it.  I'm considering Foothills since it's under new management ... anyone know who in service I should talk to?

Cheers,

Jim
